What’s going on guys? This is Pete from PeteIsip.com coming in live from the new little studio at the house. Lets talk about the Big Mistake Guys Make In The Gym especially Post Hip Replacment Barbell Squats. Today I’m still fixing up and doing stuff. I got to move couches and spread this out. But just so you guys could see, a little bit of – a little work to do. But to do it in the house is a huge key and will help me especially with the busy schedule, just finding what I can on Craigslist and finding what I can from people that I know, to purchase some cheap equipment from.
I know you guys could do this at home but today I actually have to go the gym because I’m still not set here. So I was working on it first time ever since the surgery or probably before it. I went to barbell back squats. Now the biggest thing that you have to do and the biggest tip I can give for you guys that are just starting off and are just getting into squatting and maybe never squatted before is really hone in to your form and really hone in to your technique. OK?
Avoid Big Mistakes
We’re going to go over that a little bit more during the week. Let me know if you want me to. Otherwise, I’m just going to talk about it really quick. But my hardest issue is – and I think everyone else’s is dropping your ego, not allowing yourself to be egotistical in the point of your surroundings. Meaning I hang out with a lot of strong guys. I hang out with a lot of big guys and it’s hard for me to control my thoughts and what I think of myself and what I think I should be doing rather than knowing what I should be doing.
So now I’m finally listening and really just dialing it down because I don’t need another surgery. I don’t need to go back into there. I don’t want to hurt myself and mess up everything that I just worked for. So at the end of the day, is it worth it? At the end of the day, do I feel good? Did it feel good? Did my hips feel mobile? So why not do the three-by-twelve squat that it says on my program?
If not I would have auto programmed it and created the goblet squats. You guys have no idea what I’m talking about. I would definitely subscribe up to my channel because I got a lot more tips, a lot more exercises, a lot more form and technique. Not only that life stuff. I’m going to bring it all to you here on this channel, here on this blog. So definitely check it out.
