The Sooner You Know The Truth The Better (Goals) #hardtruth
What’s up guys? This is Pete from PeteIsip.com and here’s a little trend that I’m seeing is that people jump on the wagon of working out. They get what they want. They’re feeling good and guess what happens. Oh, we lose interest! We become stagnant or we become the person that’s like, “Ah, I could maintain now.”
That’s not what champions do. That’s not what people that really want a successful life, successful journey, successful fitness habit to happen. This is the hard truth is that when people get compliant and they find different excuses like a new job or a new baby or a new something, they give up.
They don’t do anything and if they do do it, it’s half-ass and mediocre and that’s not how you get results and that’s not how consistency happens. OK? So if you want to make your excuses and you want to take off on everyone and then find out it’s football Sunday so you’re just going to eat anyway, and you’re going to get depressed because now it’s the seasonal change and I get it. I get it. I go through it too. Seasonal change, seasonal depression. You know what? I’m changing my mind this year. I’m changing the way I think. I’m not going to allow that shit to happen. All right?
I use that as an excuse. So I feel sorry for myself when it got colder and it’s my birthday and I feel weird and I acted weird for the fucking past 10 years. But you know what? I’m going to stop being a bitch this year. I’m going to stop being a little baby making excuses about why I can’t do this and why I can’t do that. I’m just going to become. I’m going to do what I want. I’m going to become who I want. I’m not going to have any reason or no doubt of why I’m not going to achieve it and neither should you. You shouldn’t be the one walking around with your head down.
You should be the one walking around with your head fucking up. All right? You’re the one that committed to something. You’re the one that said you’re going to work out and now there’s a new job or a new girlfriend or a new something in your life and I have a new baby and I get it. But that’s not a fucking excuse for you not to achieve your dream. It’s not an excuse for you not to become who you want to be.
So now I’m just going to ask you plain and simple. What the fuck are you going to do about it? Point A, something and become successful or point B, be mediocre? That’s your choice. I hope you choose point A because point B, you ain’t going nowhere.
