Hi guys. This is Pete from www.PeteIsip.com and I’m here to make a second video of the day, because I just had something that was in my mind. It follows onto the term of what we did with consistency and making sure you follow, plan out and be consistent with whatever it is for 90 days. Give it some time! I’ve seen a lot of people come into our four-week camps and I feel as if people think that they’re going to see such a drastic change in four weeks. You don’t even understand that your body doesn’t get what’s going on yet, and it’s only been four weeks. You’ve got to give your body a chance to grow. You’ve got to give your body a chance to work. You’ve got to give your body a chance to adjust to what’s going on. You only gave it four weeks. Four weeks is not a long time.
In order to make something to see, it’s got to be consistent. I change my workout program completely ever since the shot and all the testing from my hip and finding all that stuff out. I had to change. And it’s different. All right, my workouts are different and I get it because I looked in the mirror and I’m like, “Fuck, I don’t see any changes yet.” And I want to change automatically, start doing some crazy stuff. It’s been three weeks. Three and a half weeks, so I know where you’re coming from. I understand your struggles and pains. Everything and everyone wants to be fast. Everyone wants it so handed to them. They want a notification. They want a thumbs-up immediately. You want that instant gratification. You can’t get it in working out. You can’t get it in fitness. I start doing drugs or some shit it’ll come a little faster, but that’s not the way I take. But you guys gotta be able to at least hang and just be patient. You know, I had a little kid in here and I’m like, “Do you have any patience?” He’s like, “I hate patience. I hate waiting for stuff.” I’m like, “You better learn some patience, my man. Because it’s what life is about.” You gotta learn to wait. You gotta learn to love it and you’ve got to learn to love the journey that’s ahead. Worst friends ever, that’s what that means.
There was a quote I heard – did I read it or heard it? I forget. I don’t even remember what it was, but discipline is the ability to control yourself for what you want now, for something that you want even more later on. Or a bigger thing. So, discipline is the act of fighting the urge of wanting something now in order to reach the results of a greater purpose later. And that’s a huge, huge definition of what I heard or read. I don’t remember what it was. Because that’s what it is. That’s why when you want that chocolate cake and you’re ready to go, you’ve got to have that patience to just say no. You’ve got to have the discipline to say no. Because at the end of the day, three months from now, you holding back from eating that cake is going to be a world of difference inside your life, inside your diet, inside your fitness goal. If you guys are just moving along and you’re just going into a workout program, you’re going four weeks – after four weeks, nothing’s going to happen. And now you are already going to give up on it and you’re going back to square one. And then you stop the momentum and now you’re going to have to go all the way back to wherever it was you started. Probably even a little bit deeper.
So with that said, just be patient. Have the discipline to follow something out. Stay with it. Give something a chance to do some work. Because right now, a lot of you guys aren’t giving anything a chance, and you just want that instant gratification. Guess what? You’re not going to be very happy at the end of the day. So I’ll see you guys later. Subscribe, like and comment for more tips, videos and more of this angle of things. I’ll see you guys later. Hope you enjoyed this new angle. Let me know how you like it. It’s kind of weird to me still, but I’ll check you later. . Headed in for my workout. Peace out guys
